St Duthus are back in action tomorrow when they face a crunch match against North Caledonian League champions Golspie Sutherland at King George V Park.
With as many as five clubs still in contention for the title at the halfway stage of the season, the outcome of Saturday’s top clash could have major implications on the title race.
“Games between the teams have been very close in the last couple of seasons,” said St Duthus manager Stuart Ross.
“I’m sure Saturday’s match will be the same, especially with valuable points up for grabs.”
Saints will be without the suspended Craig Munro, who was sent off against Invergordon a couple of weeks ago, but Scott Miller and Reece Paterson are available again for the Tain outfit.
Golspie manager Andrew Banks also expects a close encounter.
He said:“Its a massive game. “They are a good side and always give us a tough match.
“But if we perform as well as we have been, I don’t see why any reason why we can’t get full points.”
