Ross Sutherland remain bottom of Caledonia North Two as they conceded their lead with defeat against Mackie at Invergordon.

However they have closed the gap on seventh placed Banff to one point after gaining a losing bonus point.

The visitors raced into a 14-0 lead before the Stags stampeded back with tries from David Gill, Daniel Gordon and Beefy Davies with two conversions from Dan Corr to put them 19-14 in front.

But Mackie scored two tries to give them the win and take five points back to Stonehaven.
