Ross County will face a tough start to the Premiership season after the fixture list for the 2021/22 season was released.

Double cup winners St Johnstone will travel north to Dingwall for the opening day of the season, before the Staggies go on the road to face Hibernian the following week.

County host Rangers on matchday three before heading to Pittodrie in their last match before the international break at the start of September.

They return to action away at Celtic, before Hearts come calling at the Global Energy Stadium.

The festive season has been relatively kind to the Staggies, as they will travel to Hearts on Boxing Day, before hosting Motherwell and Aberdeen either side of the New Year.

A tough run in to the split awaits too, as County's final three games before the top flight's second stage are away at Celtic, at home to Hearts and away at Aberdeen.

The first post-split matchday is scheduled for Saturday April 23 before the season wraps up on Saturday May 14.
