In total, despite being just 21, O’Sullivan has made over 110 senior appearances to date.

There was reportedly interest in the full back from Dundee United and St Mirren in Scotland, and Northampton Town and Leyton Orient in England, but the Staggies have won the race for his signature.

County manager Don Cowie commented: “We are delighted to bring Len to our club. With George Harmon leaving and Josh Reid currently recovering from surgery, signing a left back was our priority.

“Len arrives on the back of a fantastic season with Glenavon and we are really excited to work with him and give him the opportunity to show his undoubted potential.”

O’Sullivan becomes County’s eighth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Declan Gallagher, Gary Mackay-Steven, Ross Docherty, Ben Crompton, Arron Lyall, Dean Cornelius and Brad Foster.
