The 35-year-old officially left the Caledonian Stadium by mutual agreement today, almost two months after playing his last game for the club in a 2–1 defeat to Dunfermline Athletic.

The Daily Record has reported Gardyne is about to sign an 18-month deal with the Gable Endies who are currently second in League One, five points behind leaders Cove Rangers.

Gardyne is Ross County's record appearance and goal scorer, having scored 73 goals in 444 appearances in four different periods he played for the club between 2006 and 2021.

He joined Caley Thistle in the summer after leaving Ross County, made 11 appearances for Inverness and scored five goals.
