Ross County midfielder relieved at recovery from injury

Hearing the term “bone bruising” had Ross Draper fearing he would be spending a long time on the sidelines, but he feels ready to kick on now he is back to fitness.

Draper missed the start of the season with a knee injury he picked up in April, only returning for the Premiership trip to Hearts.

A start the next week against Partick Thistle in the Betfred Cup followed, but Draper would be taken off inside an hour.

He was back on the bench for the clash with St Johnstone right before last weekend’s international break, coming on for the last 15 minutes, and having had the international break to recover he is ready to get back to his best.
