Ross County defender signs for League One club on season long loan deal

Ross County have announced defender Dylan Smith has joined League One outfit Arbroath on a season-long loan.

The 18-year-old from Inverness, has made 23 appearances for the club since signing an apprenticeship in 2022.

Manager Don Cowie, commented, ‘Dylan has progressed really well after a frustrating time with injury last season and we feel this is a great opportunity for him to continue his development at a really competitive level.

“We look forward to Dylan returning to push for regular football in our first team.’

Last week, Smith was called up to the Scotland U19 squad for their double header against Hungary.
