Ross County make Declan Gallagher their first signing of the summer as nine-cap Scotland international moves to Dingwall
Ross County have completed their first signing of the summer.
Declan Gallagher has joined the Staggies on a one-year deal with the Highlanders aiming to build a squad capable of returning to the Premiership at the first time of asking next season.
The nine-cap Scotland international left Dundee United at the end of the season as his contract expired, having previously turned out for the likes of Motherwell, Aberdeen, St Mirren and Livingston.
Commenting on the 34-year-old’s arrival, County manager Don Cowie said: “Declan is a fantastic addition to the group.
“We have had a number of players depart and this marks the first step in rebuilding the squad.
“He brings a wealth of experience in the Scottish game and has recently won the Scottish Championship with Dundee United, which is ultimately our aim this season.”
Gallagher will continue to wear his favoured number 31 in Ross County colours.
