Ross County manager Malky Mackay is nominated for Scottish Football Writers Association Manager of the Year Award

Ross County manager Malky Mackay has been nominated for the Scottish Football Writers' Association Manager of the Year Award.

The 50-year-old is one of five players nominated for the accolade after guiding Ross County into the top six in his first season in charge.

Mackay is shortlisted alongside Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou, Hearts boss Robbie Neilson, Arbraoth manager Dick Campbell and Scotland head coach Steve Clarke.

The winner will be announced on Sunday, May 8.
