ROSS County have announced midfielder Iain Vigurs is the club's new captain with midfielder Callum Morris becoming vice-captain.
Vigurs has amassed over 200 appearances for the Staggies over two spells at Dingwall.
He played a vital part in the historic 2010 Scottish Cup run and the clubs first ever promotion to the top flight.
Morris, joined the club in 2018 and has played a big part in helping the Staggies clinch a return to the Premiership and also win the Irn-Bru Challenge Cup.
On the announcement, manager Stuart Kettlewell said, “We have purposefully taken our time to identify our next captain and his vice-captain.
"It was important for the players, staff and club, that we appointed people who continued that, and understand the club, its culture and what it means to play for Ross County.”
“Iain has been an absolutely tremendous servant to this football club and having played with and managed him.
"I know he 100 per cent understands the club and leaves everything he has inside of him out on the field.
"Callum also shares the same values and is a really mature and sensible head that has a lot of respect already within our dressing room.
“It’s really exciting for the two guys but, equally for us all, as we head in to a new chapter."
