Ross County confirm quarter are returning to Dingwall after loan spells as Eamonn Brophy, Jay Henderson, Rickie Lamie and hometown star Josh Reid head back to Staggies

Ross County have confirmed that four players who left the club on loan last season are back in Dingwall.

The Staggies have already announced that players like Charlie Telfer, Connall Ewan and Logan Ross – who all left County on temporary moves – would exit permanently when their contracts expired this summer.

However, four more players remain under contract for at least one more season, and have now returned to Dingwall.

Among that number are forward Eamonn Brophy, winger Jay Henderson, wing back Josh Reid and defender Ricki Lamie.

Should they be reintegrated into the first team squad, they would each provide valuable experience as the Staggies bid for an immediate return to the top flight by winning the Championship title next season.

To bolster their chances, County have already brought in experience in the form of former Scotland internationals Declan Gallagher and Gary Mackay-Steven in the last week.
