Players will need time to be fit again, says Ross County co-manager Stuart Kettlewell

ROSS County co-manager Stuart Kettlewell has warned players will need sufficient time to be ready to return to play football once government restrictions have been lifted.

Doubts remain over whether the Premiership season will be able to be completed as football has been suspended until at least June 10.

Football stopped in Scotland on Friday, March 13 with no training allowed since then as part of government restrictions on social distancing.

Kettlewell says the players’ return to action will not be immediate, as they will need sufficient time to ensure they are not prone to injury when they start up again.
