Ord out on top in black-ball shoot-out

ORD Arms Hotel won a black-ball shoot out against Dingwall 147 A to progress to the last four of the William Noble Memorial Cup on Monday night.

Gary Tuach was the Ord hero as he won the final frame to tie the match at 5-5 then proceeded to sink the match winner.

Oscars Bar A accounted for Hen House by a 6-3 scoreline to reach the semi-finals.

Neil Bentley secured the win with a reverse dish. Oscars Bar C joined them in the final stages after a 6-3 win over Royal Hotel, Cromarty. Mike Hillan cleared up for the win.

The league doubles have been moved to Sunday, March 1 at Oscars Bar.
