CHAIRMAN Roy MacGregor says Ross County could announce some new signings next weekend after a quiet transfer window so far.

Only midfielder Ross Callachan is the new face in the Staggies' squad with 10 players being released for last season.

However MacGregor says new recruits are expected to come in next week but admitted they have taken a more conservative approached compared to previous seasons.

"A lot of our supporters I understand will be wondering about recruitment of new players," said MacGregor.

"I encourage all of our supporters to bear with us- it is important that we recruit in the right way and take our time to ensure that we bring the right people to our club. "There will be some recruitment news this week, but our recruitment strategy is reliant on being a bit more patient and ensuring that we do as much research and due diligence as we can.

"If we all support this way of recruiting we will undoubtedly see the fruits of our labour going forward."
