Jordan Amissah will stay with Ross County until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old only signed a short-term deal at the start of December in the wake of Ross Laidlaw’s injury, but has come into the starting line-up over recent weeks to make four appearances.

In those outings, he has kept two clean sheets as Ross County have claimed 10 points from their last four games.

Now, Amissah has put pen-to-paper on a new deal that will see him remain a Staggie until at least the end of the season.

County manager Don Cowie commented: “We are delighted to have Jordan extend his deal.

“With Ross out for a period of time we felt we needed to add competition to the goalkeeping area.

“Jordan has been a big part of the group and performed well in his time with us so far.”
