The Australian international midfielder only arrived in Dingwall last summer to great fanfare, having won a treble in his home country with former club Central Coast Mariners.

However, the 25-year-old has activated a relegation clause in his contract to leave following the Staggies’ demotion to the Championship.

Nisbet made 39 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring four times.

He is the first player who was under contract for next season who is confirmed to be leaving Ross County this summer, following the exits of out of contract players Connall Ewan, James Brown, Scott Allardice, Ryan Leak, Alex Samuel and Logan Ross.
