Ross County midfielder Victor Loturi leaves Dingwall to return to Canada with Major League Soccer outfit Montreal ahead of 2025 MLS season
Ross County have confirmed the departure of Canadian international midfielder Victor Loturi.
The 23-year-old made 85 appearances across all competitions for the Staggies, scoring twice, but has not started for the club since their 6-0 defeat to Rangers in August.
Having moved to Dingwall in the summer of 2022 from Canadian Premier League outfit Cavalry for a reported six-figure fee, Loturi will now return to North America.
He has joined CF Montreal in an undisclosed deal ahead of the 2025 Major League Soccer season.
Last year Montreal finished eighth in the Eastern Conference with a squad including the likes of former Celtic and Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama, qualifying for the Wild Card Round of the play-offs, where they lost on a penalty shoot-out to Atlanta United.
Loturi becomes their sixth signing of the off-season, with the opening round of MLS matches due to take place on February 22.
In Dingwall, meanwhile, Loturi is the fourth player to leave Ross County in this transfer window, following Eamonn Brophy, Max Sheaf and Ricki Lamie.
