Alness para-athlete Abbie McNally is looking to prove she is the best in the world this summer.
The 18-year-old aims to secure a call-up to the Great Britain squad for the Junior Para Athletics Championships in Switzerland in August.
To make sure of her place, she is travelling to Grosetto to compete at the Italian Para Athletics Grand Prix this weekend.
McNally, who has cerebral palsy, is number two in the world junior rankings in the 100 metres, 200 metres and long jump.
After missing out on the previous Great Britain squad, she says she is determined to be selected when the team is announced on June 16.
“This weekend is really important as I’m working hard on selection for Great Britain for the Junior Para-Athletics Championships."
