Key workers enjoy free round of golf at Strathpeffer

STRATHPEFFER SPA Golf Club welcomed key workers to its course for a free round of 18 holes.

A wide range of professions took advantage of the offer from the golf course to say thank you to key workers for their services during the pandemic. They included employees from Scottish Water, the

NHS, Police, post services, prison service and other businesses.

It also included two players from London who coming to play a round of golf found that they qualified as key workers to join.

Event initiator Wendy Crossley said whilst some excelled themselves others just enjoyed the experience.

She said: “We were delighted to welcome so many Key Workers to our course and it was great that they took up our offer.

"We were also so pleased with the favourable comments following their round and look forward to seeing them again”.
