Stuart Kettlewell believes the dynamism of Ross County’s young central midfield duo can be a huge Premiership asset.

Kettlewell values the pair’s craft on the ball, but also views Spence as a chip off the old block in terms of his work-rate and awareness off the ball.

Ahead of Kilmarnock’s visit tomorrow, Kettlewell credited their energy and belief in the second half against Hibs as pivotal in the team’s dramatic comeback to win 2-1 and take all three points.

Kettlewell said: “I don’t particularly like to single out individuals, but it’s important to mention the job the two young ones have done in the middle of the pitch.

“Lewis and Harry have given us vibrancy in that area of the park.

“They’ve pressed the game well and we’re starting to see a wee bit more of their quality in possession, especially in the second half against Hibs.

“But the gauntlet is laid down to them. They’ve impressed, even against Celtic in spells, but there’s the age-old question for young players: can you find that level of consistency?"
