Ross County look to keep winning run going into league split

This week is a chance for Ross County to take breath after a hectic run of games since the turn of the year.

Last weekend’s 2–1 victory at Aberdeen was the Staggies’ ninth game in five weeks, but after being knocked out of the Scottish Cup they do not play again until next Wednesday.

It would have been a tough run in the best of circumstances, but with six of those matches coming away from home including trips to Celtic Park and Ibrox it has taken its toll on County.

Defender Keith Watson admits it may have been a tougher stretch than people outside the club realise, but says the club have to make sure to build on rounding it off with three points.
