Ross County's Irn-Bru Cup final next month will be held just over the Kessock Bridge at Inverness's Caledonian Stadium, it has been announced.

The final of the competition is always held at a neutral venue, but the specific stadium can change year on year.

Last season's competition drew to a close at St Johnstone's McDiarmid Park, where Inverness Caledonian Thistle defeated Dumbarton 1-0.

This season a non-Scottish side has made it to the final for the first time, with Ross County facing Connah's Quay Nomads from the Welsh Premier League on Saturday, March 23.

The match will kick off at 4.30pm, and will be broadcast live on S4C, BBC Alba and BT Sport.

The Staggies made it to the Irn-Bru Cup final by beating East Fife 2-1 in the semi finals thanks to goals from Daniel Armstrong and Declan McManus.
