INVERGORDON are top of the North Caledonian League after firing eight goals past Bunillidh Thistle.

They made it three wins out of three by finding the net four times against the hapless Helmsdale side.

Scott Houston, Ian Penwright, Kyle Maclean and an Duncan Davidson (o.g.) made it 4-0 at half time.

A Garrick Taylor own goal, Darran Goller, Jordan Knight and Kai Taylor completed the rout.

The win puts them in pole position in the NCL ahead of Thurso on goal difference.

In the other league game, Halkirk United defeated Bonar Bridge 4-2.
