Invergordon hang on for victory against Halkirk United to stay top of North Caledonian League Division One

INVERGORDON stay top of North Caledonian League Division One by three points but were left hanging on for victory in injury time.

The league leaders stormed into a 3-0 lead at half time with goals from Russell Macintyre, a Shaun Kerr penalty and a strike from Steven Mackay.

Andy Mackay pulled one back five minutes into the second half with Mark Webster grabbing a goal in injury time, but the Anglers were unable to reel in an equaliser.
