Hunter bags Deephaven glory as shooters aim high

DAVID S Hunter (14), Lochinver, secured first place at Deephaven after shooting a 44

Highland Deephaven Clay Pigeon Club held the club and colts (3x15 DTL) and super vets competition for members over 70 years on Sunday, April 14.

The 37 guns got off to a good start on trap A with David Hunter, Lochinver, Gordon Duguid, Inverness, Peter Mackay, Conon Bridge and Alex Morrison, Durness, all on 15

On trap B, David Hunter had the only 15

On trap C it was Andrew Mackay, Lairg, Peter Mackay and Archie Sinclair, Thurso, all on 15

In the super vets competition Olive Harper, Black Isle, took High Gun on 37

The next shoot will be on April 28 and it will be 100 ABT Scottish selection.
