Fortrose and Rosemarkie trio bowl over competition at Invergordon

Fortrose and Rosemarkie Bowling Club trio Raymond Williamson, Andrew Munro and Alan Stuart came out on top at the Invergordon Bowling Club Invitational Triples.

A total of 18 teams of triples participated in the competition for the Hugh Ross Memorial Cup with some games having to take place at St Duthus Bowling Club in Tain during the event.

The Fortrose and Rosemarkie Bowling Club team defeated David Gordon, Jim Hosie and Hugh MacDougall from Invergordon.

The tournament was first held in 1977 and has become an annual fixture on the bowls calendar.
