Inverness Caledonian Thistle have confirmed Michael Gardyne has left the club by mutual consent

Inverness Caledonian Thistle have confirmed midfielder Michael Gardyne has left the club by mutual consent.

The 35-year-old, who joined from Ross County in the summer, had not featured in the Inverness Caledonian Thistle squad since November 13 in the 2–1 home defeat to Dunfermline Athletic.

The club released a statement confirming his departure from the club saying: "Michael Gardyne has left ICTFC after the player and the club mutually agreed to end his current contract."

The club made no further statement.

Gardyne made 11 appearances for Inverness Caledonian Thistle this season and scored five goals.
