Cyclist Fin Graham and sprinter Abbie McNally have been described as role models to young people in the Highlands who are looking to reach the top in sport.
Both athletes were winners at the Scottish Disability Sport (SDS) Awards which recognised their achievements on the world stage.
Strathpeffer athlete Graham (19) who won two gold medals at the paracycling road world cup event in Canada last month, received the John de Courcy Trophy for most promising newcomer at the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Alness athlete and Inverness Harrier McNally (18) received the Archie Cameron Bursary for winning the potential high performance athlete award.
McNally won two silver medals at the World Para-Athletics Junior Championships in Switzerland.
SDS Highlands and Islands regional manager Kirsty Ewen said what both athletes have achieved in international events was an inspiration.
“I am delighted that both Fin and Abbie have had their achievements recognised at a national level."
