Bartlett’s jab kept Horabin at range for the most part, allowing the Dingwall athlete to pick his spots and come inside for some quick combinations that ultimately made the difference.

“I was happy enough to get the win,” Bartlett said.

“I fractured my hand in my first fight, so I had a lot of time in the gym working on some new things, and it paid off last Saturday.

“I felt I was a far sharper fighter, and I was happy to get the win on the card.”

Bartlett came through his second fight with no such injury, but was forced to mix up his training as he started to build towards his return to the ring in the first seven weeks.
