Ross County defender Tom Grivosti has become the latest player to sign a contract extension with the Staggies.

The English youngster broke into the first team last season when County's backline was hit with a string of injuries, and has penned a new deal that ties him to the club for the next 12 months.

His debut came off the substitutes bench against Ayr United, where he helped see off The Honest Men, who were then neck and neck with the Staggies in the title race.

He would go on to make 19 appearances in all competitions, even scoring the winning goal in the league match against Dunfermline in April.

Grivosti told the club's website: "I'm delighted to sign here again. Hopefully we can continue what we started last year and enjoy more success together."
