The date for Ross County's Betfred Cup quarter final has been confirmed.

After knocking out the holders Celtic in a 2–0 win last Sunday, the Staggies were drawn away to Livingston in the last eight.

It has now been confirmed that the match will take place on Wednesday, December 16, kicking off at 7.45pm.

The match will not be shown on television, with Rangers' trip to St Mirren instead being broadcast that night.

The other two ties will take place the night before, with Alloa Athletic's match against Hibernian being picked for live TV while Dunfermline Athletic's tie against St Johnstone will not.

If they can overcome the Lions, County will go into the draw for the semi finals which will take place following the St Mirren v Rangers contest, with the final four schedules for the weekend of January 23/24.
