County ready for tough 'Well task

Stuart Kettlewell reckons Ross County will thrive on the underdog label in tomorrow’s Scottish Cup tie against Motherwell.

The Staggies travel to North Lanarkshire to take on the proven cup commodities, knowing that most will be expecting the Fir Park outfit to prevail.

For a team who were tipped for success in the Scottish Championship at the beginning of the season and who currently find themselves at the top of the pile, it is an unfamiliar situation to be in.

But Kettlewell is confident that the Staggies will be well up for the challenge.

“I’m going to go down the route that everybody else goes down and say they’re clear favourites because they’re the Premiership team and we’re the Championship team,” Kettlewell said.
