Jodi Gorski is looking for a stronger commitment from his Caberfeidh players ahead of next season – or else he may not stay in charge.

Cabers collapsed in the latter part of the year, winning just one of their last 10 matches in all competitions.

One thing Gorski has not been impressed by is the number of absences that started piling up as the season drew to a close, and he has issued something of an ultimatum to his players for next year.

“For our last couple of games, we had so many players missing – for the last two combined we had 18 players missing,” Gorski said.

“I know there’s a lot of them that didn’t come because they couldn’t be bothered, it was the last game and there was nothing really to play for.

“I always get the players together at the start of November to speak about next year, and we’ll see what the issues are with them not committing to a full season.

“If they feel they can’t commit, we’ll get somebody else to take over. I won’t waste my time doing it.”
