Kinlochshiel defender Finlay MacRae and midfielder Donald Nixon have also been named in the 20-man squad which will face Ireland at Abbotstown, Dublin on Saturday, November 2.

Craig Morrison is the top Premiership scorer this season with 35 goals in all competitions including finding the net in his last 21 matches.

Forward Bartlett has scored 17 goals this season and scored the winner for Scotland against Ireland last year in a 14-12 victory at Bught Park in Inverness.

Defender Blair Morrison who was under-21 player of the year in 2018 completes the Cabers trio.

The Strathpeffer club have enjoyed one of their best seasons in decades as they are set to finish seventh in the Premiership and reached the semi final of the Camanachd Cup.

MacRae and Nixon represent Kinlochshiel who are sixth in the Premiership.

Scotland manager Garry Reid said he has selected a squad which he expects can retain their title.

“We have a selected a squad that have all had previous experience at under-21 or senior level and who on top of looking sharp and committed at International sessions have demonstrated through the season attributes that have made them stand out at club level.

"We are under no illusion that the squad will face an extremely tough test, with the fixture returning to Irish soil and an Ireland team under the guidance of a coaching team who are very experienced, it is clear that we will have to be at our very best in order to compete.”
