Caberfeidh are one game away from ending their 85-year wait to lift the MacTavish Cup after thrashing Skye in the semi final at Portree.

The Strathpeffer Premiership outfit proved too good for their National Division opponents.

However, it took 43 minutes for Cabers to break the deadlock through Kevin Bartlett after Skye put up stubborn resistance in defence.

2019 Premiership player of the year Craig Morrison doubled their advantage 60 seconds later.

He scored his second two minutes after the break and Bartlett scored his second on the hour mark.

Morrison killed the game off in the 62nd minute to claim his hat trick with Taylor Matheson grabbing a consolation before full time.

Caberfeidh will now face Premiership champions and current league leaders Kingussie in the final at Bught Park in Inverness on Saturday, June 11.

Caberfeidh have not won the MacTavish Cup since 1937, which was their fourth win after also claiming the trophy in 1932, 1934 and 1935.

The last time Caberfeidh won a major trophy was the Camanachd Cup in 1939.
