Bruce hat trick fires St Duthus into cup final

BEN Bruce scored his second hat trick against Inverness Athletic in two weeks to fire them into the Jock Mackay Cup final.

The Tain outfit defeated Athletic 4-1 Inverness to set up a final clash with Orkney who defeated Golspie Sutherland 4-2.

Bruce gave Inverness the lead after six minutes before Jon Campbell made it 2-0 after just nine minutes.

James Murray pulled one back in the 13th minute but Bruce grabbed his second to make it 3-1 60 seconds later.

He scored his hat trick 10 minutes before half time which was enough to kill off Inverness.
