Brothers takes title first men's open of season at Strathpeffer Golf Club

GARRY Ross came out on top at the first men's open of the season at Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club.

His brother Norman Ross took the handicap title at the Ross-shire golf course.

Garry Ross and Norman Ross picked up the titles.

Garry took the scratch title by five shots ahead of Kevin Bartlett with a 66.

Norman took the handicap title with a net 62, one shot ahead of Colin Maclennan.

Results – Scratch: Garry Ross 66; Kevin Bartlett 71; John Pirie 72.

Handicap: Norman Ross 62; Colin MacLennan 63; Sean Kennedy 64.

Cormack Trophy – Meg Milne

Brit-Oil Cup – Ewen Thain 62, Jordan Mackenzie 63, Norman Ross 63.
