RACHEL McLauchlan is chasing Champions League action and an international recall after signing for Scottish champions Glasgow City.
The Black Isle-raised footballer’s switch from Hibernian to Yeovil Town in January turned sour after financial troubles hit the then FA Women’s Super League outfit.
Yeovil turned part-time and dropped two divisions, leaving seven times capped McLauchlan sweating over her future.
Fortunately, Glasgow manager Scott Booth, the former Aberdeen striker, is a long-term admirer of versatile McLauchlan’s midfield and defensive talents.
Having agreed to join the 12-in-a-row league winners last week, the 22-year-old is looking to the future with optimism.
