Avoch face Loch Ness and Maryburgh take on Culloden for place in Premier Division Cup final

Avoch and Maryburgh will bid to reach the final of the Inverness and District Premier Division Cup when they are both in semi-final action tonight.

Avoch face a titanic clash when they take on league champions Loch Ness at Culloden.

Meanwhile Maryburgh should be heavy favourites to defeat Culloden Blacksmiths.

That match is also taking place at Culloden tonight at 6.45pm.

In the Second Division matches which took place on Wednesday night, Fortrose and Rosemarkie Union moved to fourth with a 3–0 win over Highland Athletic.

Daniel MacIver, Stephen Maclean and Stuart Lochart scored the goals that kept them within six points of leaders Highland Hospice.

They made it seven wins out of seven after they defeated Tomatin United 5–0.

Duncan Morris scored twice with Robert MacDonald, Jack Anderson and Gavin Chisholm also finding the net.

Ferrybache remain three points behind after they thrashed G16 United 6–0.

Rhys Mackinnon, Scott Shields, Graeme Macleod, Mikey Wemyss, Liam Maclennan and Declan Cooper got the goals.

Clachnacuddin Under-20’s moved to third with a 5–1 win over Ness City and Gellions played out a 3–3 draw with Ness Thistle.

Earlier in the week, Loch Ness moved to the top of the Inverness and District Premier League after they thrashed Tomatin 6–1.

Ross Tokely scored the opener with Darren McGregor then going to fire in five goals as the defending champions ran riot.

Calum Macleod grabbed a solitary goal for Tomatin in the first half.

Avoch missed the chance to go top of the table when they were held to a 1–1 draw by IRN Security.

Dean Allison put Avoch in front after 25 minutes but IRN Security equalised 10 minutes later.

The match between Culloden Blacksmiths and Maryburgh was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Culloden.

In Division One, Black Isle United remain top but had to settle for a point after a 5–5 draw with Inverness Athletic in Culbokie.

NMM Sams are in second place with a 5–4 win over Hill Rovers with Stephen McGhie scoring the winner.

Balloan and Invergordon played out a 1–1 draw with Conon Bridge defeating Drakies 4–2.
