Alness United lifted the Ness Cup in their final home game after winning North Caledonian League Division Two earlier this week.

The Ross outfit secured the title after beating Inverness Athletic 3–2 on Wednesday night and lifted the trophy after a 4–1 victory over Bonar Bridge at Dalmore Park this afternoon.

Alness raced into a 2–0 lead after seven minutes with goals from Ryan McFee and Taylor Sutherland.

However, their third goal did not come until eight minutes from time through Callum Gow.

Paul Connelly pulled one back for Bonar Bridge two minutes later, but Liam Hutchison restored United's three goal advantage from the penalty spot before full time.

Alness United play their final match of the season at Nairn County A next Saturday.
