Women's daring 'end to end' epic hits Ardross
THE fascinating story of how three women made a daring and highly unusual journey from one end of Great Britain to the other reaches Ardross on Sunday evening.
In April last year, the trio made set out on the end to end trip - trusting only on their resourcefulness and the kindness of strangers.
End to End, which is performed by Gramophones Theatre at Ardross Hall on Sunday, June 2 at 8pm, tells the story of what happened.
In the event, they made an 18-day, 874-mile journey from Land’s End to John O’ Groats, meeting a colourful cast of characters along the way.
They completed their unusual expedition on as many varieties of transport as they possibly could.
In End to End they share moments of their journey and their encounters with a host of interesting and unusual characters.
It's billed as a story about why we leave places, why we stay and what we imagine of places we have never been to.
