Woman made threats to ex at Gairloch Caravan Park

A Wester Ross woman who threatened her former partner, claiming she had a gun, has had sentence deferred at Inverness Sheriff Court.

Kirsty Wooton (46), of Gairloch Caravan Park, admitted threatening or abusive behaviour at the park on August 6 this year.

The court was told she shouted and swore at her former partner and a woman while in possession of a knife, refusing to leave the caravan and striking and kicking it.

Defence solicitor advocate Mike Chapman told Sheriff David Harvie: "There has been no difficulty between my client and Mr Beresford since then. They both run the caravan park."

Wooton will return to be sentenced on November 7.
