The wife of a missing Inverness man has asked the nation to help find her husband.

Cath MacKay posted on Missing People Scotland's Facebook page an appeal for help after her husband John was last seen on November 8.

"Please share around Scotland," she said.

"My husband of less that eight weeks left our home in Inverness at 6.30am on November 8 and hasn't been seen since.

"There were potential sightings at the Muirtown swing bridge, but CCTV puts him heading towards Kessock Bridge.

"We are unsure from here if he went onto the bridge or tailed off just before it to take a trail back into town but so far has been undiscovered.

"Please share around Scotland and maybe he's hitched a lift and now in a different area.

"He is slim built, and around 6ft, he was wearing a blue Ping golf gillet, and the grey Adidas joggers with orange stripes and blue and white Asics running shoes."

The post has been shared more than 2500 times so far.
