We all know that Nicky Marr, the Inverness Courier's open cold-water swimming expert and columnist, loves nothing more than a giggle – but one of our readers really did make her day.
Along with thousands of memes across the globe, reader Tony Shaw has had Bernie Sanders, former American presidential hopeful, join her for one of her swims in the loch.
Mr Sanders was pictured at Joe Biden's inauguration ceremony in Washington last week, and at the time he looked less than impressed. Since then, people have been making memes of his mittens-and-miserable look by superimposing his picture over other pictures.
Nicky who wrote about why open water swimming is great for the heart and soul in her weekly column in last week's Inverness Courier was delighted that Bernie had joined her for a swim.
She said: "So I've been 'Bernied'.
