Wester Ross school pupils get free pass to award-winning Gairloch Museum

SCHOOL pupils local to an award-winning Wester Ross museum are being offered free entry until the end of the year.

Gairloch Museum shared the news today.

The Museum Pass cards that are being sent out through local schools allow free admission for any -school-age young people living in the area.

They can be used them repeatedly until the end of the year.

Children under 5 years of age gain free entry already.

The museum said: "So check those school bags next week and we hope to see you soon!"

Schools in Gairloch, Poolewe, Bualnaluib, Applecross, Shieldaig and Kinlcohewe are amongst those set to benefit.

It has been timed to coincide with the start of the summer holidays.
