PIPERS in Wester Ross have paid poignant tribute against a beautiful natural backdrop to carers on the front line of the coronavirus battle.

Pipers with Gairloch and District Pipe Band continue to play each Thursday as part of the Clap for Carers movement.

It aims to show pubic solidarity with NHS staff, people staffing care homes and key workers across all sectors for their efforts during the lockdown.

Emma and Fraser in Opinan played Highland Laddie and the High Road to Gairloch, part of which was shared by the band on its social media pages.
