A Wester Ross inn and restaurant has been named in the Good Food Guide’s 100 Best Pubs 2025.

Applecross Inn, has been named 62 on the list, and for owner Judith Fish, it is a testament to her team and suppliers.

The Best Pubs list was compiled over six months, with each entry visited by several anonymous judges.

In September, The Good Food Guide asked readers to submit their favourite pubs and received 10,000 entries, and the Applecross Inn made the mark.

Judith has run Applecross Inn since 1989, and it is a charming establishment that is a second home for locals and a sanctuary for travellers.

Judith said: “I love that this comes through customer recommendations, followed up by a judging panel, making it a true up-to-date review.

“I am very pleased with our recognition for both food and service, for my great team and suppliers of such amazing local produce.

“It’s very important these days to stay ahead of the game. With increasing costs, we see many businesses struggling to stay afloat, so it’s very important to keep up to speed with everything.”
