Lochcarron Medical Practice in Wester Ross gives status report on its Covid-19 vaccination program

A WESTER Ross medical practice has completed all the first Covid-19 vaccinations for over 50s and those in the 18-64 at risk category.

Lochcarron Medical Practice said its program for second vaccinations "is going well".

It reported: "Over 65s have all been vaccinated and we hope to have clinics in the next few weeks to complete our second vaccinations for 50-64s and 18-64 Covid at risk category.

It added: "Whilst our routine appointment system continues, due to our Covid vaccination clinics, there are fewer appointments available. Thank you to all for your patience and understanding.

"The practice team have worked very hard to organise and run the clinics as smoothly as possible. Thank you for your cooperation and words of encouragement and appreciation."

Teresa Mitchell posted: "You should all feel proud of the part you have played in keeping our community safe. Thank you."

Audrey Tomlinson added: "Besides the efficiency of the vaccine clinics it's always happy smiling staff and clinicians who greet you which makes all the difference. Thank you."
