WEATHER ALERT: Ross schools close as overnight snow creates treacherous conditions

HUNDREDS more Easter Ross pupils will be learning from home today because of fresh overnight snowfall.

While the majority of children attending Highland Council schools are already learning remotely because of lockdown restrictions during the coronavirus crisis, many remain open for the children of key workers.

Highland Council says that a significant number of primary schools and associated nurseries will be closed today because of bad weather.

Those listed to date include:

Bonar Bridge Primary

Bonar Bridge Primary Nursery

Bridgend Primary

Bridgend Primary Nursery

Dornoch Primary

Dornoch Nursery

Edderton Primary

Gledfield Primary

Goslpie High School

Hill of Fearn Primary

Hill of Fearn Primary Nursery

Kiltearn Primary

Kiltearn Primary Nursery

Milton Primary

Milton Nursery

Park Primary Nursery

Park Primary School

Resolis Primary

Resolis Nursery

South Lodge Primary

South Lodge Primary Nursery

St Duthus School
