THE family of an Easter Ross man last seen four weeks ago today are still looking for answers despite a massive community effort to trace him.

Shaun Banner (34) was last seen near Invergordon railway station just after midnight on Saturday, April 23.

His brother, Alan, along with the rest of Shaun's family, has spearheaded efforts since then to trace him.

Searches have centred on coastlines and last week it was revealed that one of the shoes he was believed to have been wearing the night he went missing had been found washed ashore at Nigg Beach.

His brother today posted a message thanking people for thier support, asking them to keep searching and simply stating: "We just need him home now."

He said: "A month today our family’s lives were turned upside down. We currently have no concrete answers and time is not on our side, not getting him home is simply not an option for us and we will do anything we possibly can.

"We all miss Shaun so much and just want to find him and get him home. Please continue your searches, focusing mainly coastlines and beaches. Thanks for your continued searching and love.

He’s described as 5ft 7in, with short brown hair, blue eyes and of slim build.
